Discus Guidelines
Each year, Discus Dental receives thousands of requests for product donations for charities.
The sheer volume of requests we receive is wonderfully exciting, because we know it means that so many of our clients are passionate about giving back to their local communities and around the world.
Many dentists we hear from travel the world on mission trips to use their expertise to provide dental care to people who would otherwise not have the opportunity to see a dentist.
While we would like nothing more than to accommodate every request, it is simply not possible or feasible, so we put together some simple guidelines to help you determine whether your request may qualify for a charity request that meets our guidelines.
If we have the inventory available, Discus Dental will often donate products that are within a year prior to expiration. Below are the Discus Dental Product Donation Request for Charities Guidelines:
- Discus can only donate to existing Discus Dental customers with an active account of more than one year.
- Preference will be given to Discus Dental VIP customers. Ask your Discus representative to find out how you can become a Discus VIP customer, and to learn about the benefits of being a Discus VIP
- Discus Dental will need a minimum of 45 days notice prior the date of the event or when the product(s) must arrive by in order to process your request.
- The donation must be used towards an established non-profit organization with a 501-C tax ID number.
- Discus Dental must receive confirmation of receipt of goods from the charitable organization.

Due to the sheer volume of requests, we can only respond to those whom we can assist with a product donation.
