What is Extravaganza?
Extravaganza, sponsored by Discus Dental, is the largest corporate sponsored continuing education event in dentistry. It is unlike anything else in dentistry. The conference and exhibit, with anticipated attendance of over 1,500 dental professionals, is held in Las Vegas over Memorial Day weekend.
The conference will be headlined by world leaders, entertainers, authors, and or some of the most compelling contemporary figures. In the past, the event has helped raise nearly $100,000 each year for the Children’s Dental Center, a non-profit organization that offers free dental care to children of low income families in several major cities. Discus Dental has a seat on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Dental Center and is a major contributor of supplies and services to the organization. For 2010, the money will be raised for the non-profit organization Smiles for Life. Smiles for Life is a charity organization that helps children facing serious health conditions and educational deficiencies. The LEAP Foundation is a week long program held on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles, which is designed to motivate young people and help them to reach their business and personal goals.

Extravaganza will be held Memorial Day Weekend, May 28-30, 2010 in Las Vegas, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Dentists, hygienists, office staff, researchers, academics, and all dental professionals attend.
Why should I go to Extravaganza?
Quite simply, no other event offers so much to the dental professional. With over 20 lectures and an opportunity to earn 15 CE credits, there is sure to be something for you at the program. Lectures are offered in Aesthetics, Practice Enhancement, Endodontics, and Lasers. In addition, the keynote presentations are world class.
Who are the keynote speakers at this year’s event?
Our keynote speakers include Tom Brokaw on Friday and Marcus Allen on Sunday. Tom Brokaw, one of the most trusted and respected figures in broadcast journalism, is a special correspondent for NBC News. In this role, he reports and produces long-form documentaries and provides expertise during election coverage and breaking news events for NBC News.

No. Seats are guaranteed on a first come, first served basis...but you must register NOW! This event will sell out.
Is Extravaganza of value to professionals outside the US?
Yes. The program is designed to provide a forum for an exchange of ideas and information to enhance dental professionals, wherever they may practice.
What does it cost to attend Extravaganza?
Doctors are $1495; Doctor’s Team Members (Dental Asst, Hygienists, Office Mgrs, etc.) are $795, Guests are $595, and Students are $495.
Refund policy: All refunds are subject to a $100 administration fee per doctor and a $50 administration fee team member. No refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the seminar.
Are there any discounts available?
Yes. Discounts apply based on the Doctor's prior attendance.
For the 2010 program, if the Doctor has attended three times before, then everyone in the office qualifies for Gold Club discount of 5%.
If the Doctor has attended four times before, then everyone in the office qualifies for a Platinum Club discount of 7.5%.
If the Doctor has attended five or more times before, then everyone in the office qualifies for a Diamond Club discount of 10%.
Also, group practice discounts are available. If 10 or more doctors from one office register at the same time, there is a 5% discount and a total of 2 free staff for the entire group. If 15 or more doctors from one office register at the same time, there is a 7.5% discount and a total of 3 free staff for the entire group. If 20 or more doctors from one office register at the same time, there is a 10% discount and a total of 4 free staff for the entire group. Alumni and group practice discounts may not be combined.

When should I plan to arrive and depart Las Vegas?
You should plan to arrive in Las Vegas sometime on Thursday, May 27. Pre-registration will begin at 1:00 PM. The event kicks off with breakfast on Friday, May 28 at 7:00 AM. If you are staying for the entire conference, we conclude with the last session at 12:30 PM on Sunday, May 30.
